Absence of workers in brick &tile in Australia
News coming from Australian competition and consumer committee (ACCC) in 3 July, ACCC has approved Australian brick& bricklaying training foundation (ABBTF) 、Think Brick Australia andAustralian concrete brick association will levy a small number tax on sale of clay bricks and concrete bricks.
Money coming from tax will help the trainee to complete their study and solve the problem of shortage of brick worker.
Member of ACCC Jill walker said: levying tax will make the recruit of brick worker easier, though the cost of building may rise A$15, but it is better than shortage of brick workers.
